We Are Story Tapestries

Story Tapestries builds community through story—
centering language, voice, and the written word across artistic disciplines.

Why Story Tapestries?

Our professional artists share the power of story through performances, workshops, artist residencies, and educator training programs. Our artists work across disciplines—including music, movement, and visual art—with writing and narrative at the core, grounding programs that strengthen literacy and support social-emotional learning and STEAM connections. Guided by the belief that storytelling is both an artistic practice and a civic act, Story Tapestries creates spaces where people are supported to listen deeply, learn from one another, and lead with intention—because with arts comes understanding, and with understanding comes community.

Arianna, we so very much appreciate the gift of love that you shared with us and the reminder that we all have that light of a star inside of each one of us. You left us with a feeling of grounding, hope and the knowing that – all we need is what we may already have – we just have to look inside – realize, develop and harness it.
